| I pledge to work to strengthen individual communities and neighborhoods by creating a better sense of unity within the city and working on the city's communication with its residents |
- I was one of the founding members of the Oakland Park
Homeowners Association, which works to improve the quality of life
of all residents in the city.
- I am president of the North Andrews Neighborhood Association,
where I am working on outreach to the entire neighborhood and
developing a more united neighborhood.
- I will work on ways to better inform the residents when projects and
issues impact their neighborhood.
- I will continue to develop a community volunteer group that will
work on helping our neighbors and those in need of assistance
improve the appearance of their homes and neighborhoods.
- The volunteer group will focus on seniors and the disabled who
are unable to work on their own homes.
- I will work with the county on providing paint, plants, and grants for
the community volunteer group.
